The single girder suspension crane requires very little space and runs on the bottom flange of the crane runway, which is mounted on roof beams or directly on the ceiling. The complete width of the hall is thus available. The distance between the load hook and side walls is extremely small in this case. With this type of crane it is possible to connect various suspension cranes with the help of a crane interlock to enable them to pass hoists with or without loads.

In this way it is possible to reach any and every point in a combined system. Passing on a spur runway is also possible.
